A cloud for personal software.
Ownkube is a cloud for personal software. Push a repo or a container and get a live URL in seconds, with managed Postgres, automatic TLS, logs, metrics, autoscaling, and one-click rollbacks built in. No cloud account, no cluster to provision, and no card to start.
When you are ready, the same app moves to your own or a customer’s AWS account with no rewrite, and its logs, metrics, and health checks come with it. AWS today, with GCP and Azure coming soon.
What Ownkube handles for you
Section titled “What Ownkube handles for you”Ownkube runs the recurring platform work a DevOps hire would do day to day, so a small team can ship to production without standing up a platform function.
- Builds and git-push deploys. Connect a GitHub or GitLab repo and Ownkube builds the image (with or without a Dockerfile) and ships it.
- A live URL with automatic TLS. Every web deployment gets a ready-to-share hostname on a Cloudflare-backed domain, with DDoS, bot, and scrape protection out of the box.
- Managed Postgres and Valkey cache. Attach one in a click and pull the connection string from the dashboard or the CLI.
- Observability built in. A live log stream plus CPU and memory metrics on every deployment, with health and sync status.
- Autoscaling and rollbacks. Horizontal autoscaling on CPU and memory, and one-click zero-downtime rollbacks to the last healthy revision.
The same app, in your own or your customers’ cloud
Section titled “The same app, in your own or your customers’ cloud”The app you build on Ownkube is portable by design. Run it on Ownkube-managed compute today, then move the same app into your own AWS account, or ship it into each customer’s own environment, with no rewrite. The workflow, the dashboard, and the observability (logs, metrics, and health checks) come with it.
This is an option, not a requirement, and most personal software never needs it. When you do, it is a configuration change rather than a migration. AWS is supported today, with GCP and Azure coming soon.
What you can build
Section titled “What you can build”Key capabilities
Section titled “Key capabilities”| Capability | Details |
|---|---|
| Git-push deploys | Connect a repo, Ownkube builds the image and ships the rollout. |
| Managed Postgres | One-click Postgres with backups and connection pooling. |
| Managed Valkey cache | One-click Redis-compatible cache with a private connection string. |
| Autoscaling | Horizontal scaling on CPU and memory thresholds. |
| Public hostnames | A live URL per web deployment with automatic TLS. |
| Logs and metrics | Live log stream plus CPU and memory metrics on every deployment. |
| Rolling updates | Every config change triggers a zero-downtime rollout with health checks. |
| Run in your own cloud | Move the same app to your own AWS account, no rewrite. |
