Ship like a giant. Stay lean like a startup.

A developer platform that runs inside the AWS account you already own. Git-push deploys, managed databases, and automatic health monitoring, with zero compute markup and no vendor lock-in.

Ownkube is a developer platform that runs in your own AWS account, with a team of named agents (Cost, Incident, Scaling, Security) handling the recurring ops work. Push code, provision databases, run workers, on infrastructure you own. The agents catch crashes, right-size workloads, and trim spend, so a 5- to 20-person team can ship to production without hiring a $200K DevOps engineer.

No platform team. No vendor lock-in. No compute markup.

Most teams face an impossible choice. PaaS simplicity with 3-5x compute markup and vendor lock-in, or raw cloud control that needs a dedicated platform team to ship anything.

Ownkube is the bridge. You get git-push deploys, one-click databases, and automatic health monitoring, all running inside your own AWS VPC on vanilla Kubernetes you can walk away from anytime.

Zero vendor lock-in

Everything deploys to your own AWS VPC using standard Kubernetes. No proprietary APIs, no custom runtimes. Disconnect Ownkube and your infrastructure keeps running exactly as it was.

Burn AWS credits efficiently

AWS Activate credits expire in 12 to 24 months. Ownkube workloads run in your own AWS account, so credits redeem against every EC2 instance, S3 bucket, and byte of bandwidth before they evaporate. Starter adds zero Ownkube fees on top, so a startup credit can cover 100% of the bill while you stay on one AWS instance.

Compliance on your terms

SOC 2 and HIPAA audit scope stays on your own AWS account. Keep your BAA with AWS directly. Application data never leaves your infrastructure.

No platform team needed

Four named agents share the work. Cost agent right-sizes workloads and auto-sleeps idle envs. Incident agent translates crashes into plain-English root cause hints. Scaling agent adjusts replicas and spot placement ahead of traffic. Security agent flags IAM drift and exposed secrets. Together they cover the recurring ops work a $180K to $250K DevOps engineer would do day to day.

Where every other PaaS asks you to hand over your infrastructure, your compliance posture, and your ability to walk away, Ownkube runs inside the AWS account you already own.

Every managed PaaS fails the top block on compliance and lock-in. Raw AWS passes that block but fails the bottom on developer experience. Ownkube is the one row ticking both. (Heroku HIPAA support is Enterprise-tier only; Heroku, Railway, and Fly.io autoscaling is partial.)

CapabilityDetails
Git-push deploysConnect a repo, pick a tag, Ownkube handles the rollout.
Two cluster shapesProduction (managed EKS) for live traffic, Starter (K3s on one AWS instance) for dev and side projects.
EnvironmentsGroup deployments by stage with color-coded badges and isolation.
Managed PostgresOne-click Postgres 17 or 18 with backups and pooling on EKS.
AutoscalingHorizontal scaling on CPU/memory thresholds.
Public hostnamesGenerated hostname per web deployment with automatic TLS.
Rolling updatesEvery config change triggers a zero-downtime rollout with health checks.

Ownkube is shaped by the teams using it. If there’s a capability you need, a new registry type, a runtime feature, a framework-specific path, tell us.
