# Ownkube documentation

> Deploy web apps, workers, scheduled jobs, managed Postgres and Valkey on Ownkube from GitHub, GitLab, a container image, the CLI, or your coding agent. Live URL, TLS, logs, metrics and autoscaling included.

Ownkube is a cloud for personal software. Push a GitHub or GitLab repo or point at a container image and Ownkube builds it, runs it, and gives you a live URL with automatic TLS. Managed [Postgres](/docs/data/postgres) and [Valkey](/docs/data/valkey), [logs](/docs/observability/logs), [metrics](/docs/observability/metrics), [alerts](/docs/observability/alerts), [autoscaling](/docs/deployments/autoscaling) and [rollbacks](/docs/deployments/rollbacks) are built in. You pay per minute from a [prepaid wallet](/docs/billing/plans), with no cloud account and no subscription to start.

## Deploy your stack

Pick your framework for a short guide from repo to live URL. Each one ends with managed Postgres wired in. The full list is on [Deploy a framework](/docs/deploy).

## What you can run

| Resource type | What it is | Where to read |
|---|---|---|
| Web app | HTTP service with a public `*.ownkube.app` hostname and automatic TLS | [Deployments](/docs/deployments) |
| Worker | Long-running background process with no public endpoint | [Deployments](/docs/deployments) |
| Scheduled job | Runs a container to completion, once or on a cron schedule | [Scheduled jobs](/docs/deployments/jobs) |
| Database | Managed Postgres 17 or 18, private by default, with backups and point-in-time recovery | [Postgres](/docs/data/postgres) |
| Cache | Managed Valkey, Redis-compatible, in memory | [Valkey cache](/docs/data/valkey) |
| Marketplace app | n8n, Metabase, Directus and more, with their database wired in | [Marketplace](/docs/deployments/marketplace) |

## Prefer your own cloud?

The same app runs in your own AWS account with the same dashboard, CLI and observability, if you ever want it there. See [Run in your own AWS account](/docs/own-cloud).

This site has a search endpoint: https://context7.com/api/v2/ask?siteKey=ask_c64dfe8ffaa8d3ad19576838&query=<URL-encoded question>. It returns documentation that answers the question, with a source link for each part. No API key is needed. If nothing matches, it says so.
