Ownkube is run by Hacking Laymen Private Limited. This page covers what we collect about you when you visit ownkube.io or use Ownkube. The data inside the apps you run on Ownkube belongs to you, and we only handle it to run those apps.
1. What we collect
- Your name, email and picture from Google, GitHub or GitLab when you sign in. We don't use passwords.
- Billing details like your name, country, address and tax ID. Card numbers go to our payment provider, not to us.
- What you connect, like repositories, your AWS account ID or a Slack workspace.
- How you use the site and dashboard: IP address, browser, pages visited, and screen recordings with anything you type hidden.
- Emails and feedback you send us.
2. Why
We use it to run your account and apps, bill you, keep Ownkube safe, email you about your account and make Ownkube better. Product news emails are on by default, except in the EU, UK and Switzerland, and every one has an unsubscribe link. We never sell your data or use it for ads.
3. Who helps us
We share data only with the companies that help us run Ownkube, for hosting, payments, email and analytics. We also share it with services you connect yourself, and with authorities when the law requires it.
4. Where and how long
Your data is stored in India, the United States and Germany. Data from the EU and UK is covered by the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses. We delete your account data within 30 days of you closing your account, and keep invoices only as long as tax law requires.
5. Your rights
You can ask to see, fix, download or delete your data, or take back your consent, by emailing privacy@ownkube.io. We reply within 30 days. If you're not happy with our answer, you can complain to your local data protection authority (in India, the Data Protection Board).
7. Kids
Ownkube is not for anyone under 18.
8. Contact and changes
Email privacy@ownkube.io with any question or complaint. It also reaches our Grievance Officer, who replies within 24 hours and resolves complaints within 15 days. If we change this policy in a way that matters, we'll email you first.
