The platform estimate uses Ownkube Compute rates: about $18 per vCPU and $4.50 per GiB of memory per month, billed per minute on what your apps actually use and drawn from a prepaid wallet. The Team plan ($20 a month) loads that much credit each month, so it sets a floor and does not add on top. If you later need the same app in your own or a customer's AWS account, it moves with no rewrite.
The hire model includes loaded cost (base + benefits + payroll tax + recruiting + tooling). Ramp cost is the salary paid during the months the engineer is hired but not yet shipping production changes. Treat the result as a planning estimate.
